How To Get Paid:
We are a U.S. based company and online English teachers are paid via direct deposit or PayPal (after initial validation).
Teachers invoice by the 15th of the month following each teaching month, and payments are processed on the 26th day of that month.
Teaching Online Is An Independent Contractor Position:
Most contracts are offered for a six-month term with options for auto-renewal for each party.
Contractors are responsible for their own taxes, as no withholding is taken from payments.
Get A TEFL/TESOL Qualification
Most international English teaching opportunities would require candidates to hold an English Teaching Certificate. Having this certificate would lead to more opportunities and higher pays,

The TEFL/TESOL Certificate
TEFL stands for “Teaching English as a Foreign Language”, and it is a standard certification for English teachers. The minimum requirement to teach online is a 60 hour TEFL/TESOL certificate with us.
You can start working on your certification while you apply. Or our team is happy to share their knowledge of available courses during your video call.
Please note, the cost of your TEFL/TESOL will not be reimbursed.
